THE LAST STAND

The prolific oil resources of the Middle East region have attracted a lot of attention for over a century. Without going into a history or physics lesson, to say that oil is the most valuable resource on planet Earth would be a huge understatement. Oil energy powers the economies and militaries of all nations, and there are very few substitutes.
The United States of America has long been active in the Middle East with increasing frequency over the last couple of decades. The Islamic Republic of Iran has held a dominant position in the region since the creation of Persia over two thousand years ago. If we look at the rest of the nation states that sit atop the “oil prize”, there is a prevalent trend in motion. That trend is one of conquer and chaos. The region’s history looks like this.
First major oil discovery in Middle East (1908)
** Masjed Soleyman oil field in Iran
USA occupation of neutral Iran in World War II (1942-1946)
Discovery of Saudi Arabia’s Ghawar oil field (1948)
** Highest sustained oil production rate by any single oil field in world history
USA first time combat troops intervened during Lebanon Crisis (1958)
OPEC formed and currently controls 80% of world’s proven oil reserves (1960)
USA & Saudi Arabia Petrodollar Agreement (1974)
USA sanctions Iran (1979-Current)
USA support of both sides during the Iran & Iraq War (1980-1988)
USA support of Kuwait & UAE during Gulf War (1990-1991)
USA War in Afghanistan (2001-2021)
USA War in Iraq (2003-2011)
USA support of the fall of Libya (2011)
USA support of Syrian Civil War (2011-2024)
USA Twelve-Day War with Iran (2025)
USA current War in Iran (2026-Current)
The common theme here is the relentless USA military presence and political pressure. The documented “justifications” for the wars and destruction are not convincing.

The USA and Iran War is currently in a ceasefire at the time of this writing. I am forecasting that more war is coming. The reason is simple: the victor will control the vast oil reserves of the Middle East. In 2026, there are very few Middle East nations that have not already been conquered and left dysfunctional. The largest and strongest remaining nation is Iran. With over 90 million loyal citizens and a well-supplied military, Iran must make their LAST STAND now. Iran does not want to be the next conquered nation on the USA’s long-standing target list.
Their invaluable oil and natural gas reserves must be defended. And defended for the long run. This long-term view means that there will ultimately be one clear victor and one loser so the stakes are extremely high. Iran’s objective is to get the Americans to leave the region and abandon their military bases and never return. Iran wakes up every morning with the threat of another USA deadly intervention, which has now become intolerable. The USA’s objective remains the same to control the precious oil supply that sustains the USA empire and its global domination. These two objectives are diametrically opposite and there is no common ground. So here we are at the LAST STAND. Iran does not want to be the next conquered Middle East nation and lose their domestic oil and gas riches.
More war in the Middle East is coming. To the victor go the spoils. Iran must dig in for their LAST STAND. If the USA cannot deceive and bribe the Iranians into submission, then a great war can be expected. The once great Persian empire is ready to defend its land, lifestyle and treasure. The USA empire must be ready to destroy, kill and conquer another Middle East nation. Another great war is inevitable to control the massive oil reserves and facilities that drive a higher standard of living. My prediction is that the Iranian people will continue to resist the USA’s deception and threats to the very end. They also likely have powerful allies in Russia and China to support their cause. Welcome to the LAST STAND.
